Nicki Franks has been making things look good professionally for over 18 years—and unprofessionally since childhood. As the Founder and Creative Head of Chirpy Bird Studio, they specialize in bold branding, illustration, and design that refuses to be boring.

A proud alum of Pennsylvania College of Art & Design, their love for design started young and never let go. The first Chirpy Bird doodle appeared in a 6th-grade notebook, and from there, the creative spark only grew.  Whether crafting brand identities, designing playful merch, or collaborating with fellow creatives, Nicki's mission remains the same: to create work that lingers in your brain, hits you in the feels,  and proudly colors outside the lines.

When not designing, Nicki can often be found overanalyzing typography on cereal boxes, impulse-buying toys for two very ungrateful cats, or shouting answers at the TV during Jeopardy. Their other pastimes include writing haiku poems for no one in particular, and pondering both life’s biggest questions and tiniest curiosities.
